Script to move Windows shares from old server to new server

Hello All,

 

Does anyone know a way I can move the share and permissions share from old server to new server. Current server is a cluster server and we want to move shares to standalone new server.

We did this a few months back, and used Robocopy.

 

Brilliant little tool, includes security copying, file/folder retries etc and logging so you can find out what did/didn't copy as well.

I used Microsoft File Server Migration Toolkit, works a treat and easy to use.
