Not sure ehere this goes, so I am putting it here.

I installed VMWare on my machine and loaded Karoshi to play with, it installed the main bit, the second bit was to install pclinuxdos or something like that, when it tries I get no space to install it?

I configured the VMware space with 1gb of space, but it does mention something about no additional space, I am not sure there to look for this in VMware to allocate some space, if that is where I should be looking.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Scot

Just noticed a Karoshi banner in the Nix forum, please move here if it should go here! d'0h

1GB doesn't sound like a lot of space for an entire OS. I would allocate 20GB (but do not pre-allocate the space).

When we do testing we always allow 8gb, it doesn't install that large but it a just in case thing.

The other thing is make sure you do a custom vmware, as pclinuxos doesn't like to boot with scsi as default so you need it to say ide. On a real machine this doesn't make any difference and we have it installed on ide, scsi and sata with no problem, but its something weird vmware does.
