[ms office - 2016] Fast Insider. Works for Educational?

Hi folks,

 

Anyone know if the version of Office we get on the Education plan of Office 365 allows you so switch to Fast Insider?

 

I'm guessing not, but just to save me uninstalling and reinstalling Office to test

I gave it a go, and looks like the answer's "no". There's no "Insider" button in my O365 software settings.

The answer is no, you have to do it manually using the office deployment tool.

 

After using the deployment tool it lists it as Fast Insider in office apps, but the options to change the channel are not available.
