iSCSI link Crashing my server

I have an empty Server (TFSVS-5) connected via iSCSi is a QNAP TS-879U-RP SAN which I use for local backup.

 

I am currently using Gigasoft as a cloud backup option, their software also allows local copies to be created. So I have the software on one of my larger file servers.

 

All was running well until a couple of days ago the backup failed. It seems now whenever this file server connects to the share for the QNAP it crashes TFSVS-5 causing all my other local backups to fail.

 

Has anybody seen this happen? I've pulled apart the iSCSI link and updated all the machines with the latest drivers and software.... now I'm at a bit of a loss.
