SIMS Subjects most listed as not being active

Hi all

 

I have a strange situation where a school has the vast majority of subjects not set as active in SIMS under Tools - Setups - Subjects.

 

This is effecting the Interventions module which has a dropdown list of subjects but it only shows ones that are active. From what I can tell everywhere else (such as course manager) the list of subjects is ok.

 

If we try to edit a subject to set it as active we get an error saying the code already exists.

 

Anyone got any ideas on how to make these subjects active as it is in most other schools? I'm guessing it will be to do with NOVA-T but everything looks fine in there and I know they have done an export recently.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
