running a sports pool online - legal side

ok got an idea got world baseball classic starting in march http://www.worldbaseballclassic.com/2006/index.jsp

 

thinking of running a pool bertween online friends

 

what there is 16 teams taking part 3 quid each that is 48 quid...

 

i know ill split money half going to edugeek to help with costs and hlaf going to prize winner

 

 

but what is legal side of running a pool online as not gambling but other than that not sure any ideas...
