[ms office - 2016] New Windows 10 Pro Tablets Office Pre-installed - Help on setup

Hi All,

 

We have just received a batch of Windows 10 Pro tablets that come with the Office App Word Mobile, Powerpoint, Excel installed as part of the build, we are a primary school and have a Microsoft EES agreement which we subscribe to.

 

The office app wants to be linked to a users email account for full functionality which we do not use individual emails for pupils so can we use the app? or do I need to sign up the school for Office 365, and is it free for primary schools?

 

Any help would be appreciated.
