Backing up Netop custom policies

Does anyone know where custom policies i have created are stored in netop?

 

i want to back mine up as they have taken ages to create and i dont want to lose them

Look for a folder called DanWare under Application Data in your profile. Also check All Users as well.

 

I think that's where it should be but it's been long time since I have used NetOp.

Try:

 

Application Data\Danware Data\NetOp School\TEACHER\Policies

Application Data\Danware Data\NetOp School\TEACHER\Policies\MATHS ROOM

 

[ I have them in a launch script as I copy over certain details depending on what PC they are launching Netop from. Obviously remove the MATHS ROOM folder !! ]

Depends how you have your profiles setup and if you use folder re-direction.....

Also check to see if you have a c:\windows\netop.ini - If you do it might have settings in it to change the place where your policies are stored (to allow you to have a central repository or a machine-specific policy store)
