I have being given a task to create a Network infrastructure, and im having some difficulty on packet tracer which it needs to be created

it has to look like this. the problem im just getting is i cant seem to make the DHCP work for the servers so that they connect to the pcs on the other side of the network

also since subnet 1 and 2 use the same ip address when connecting them to the router it has issues i have being able to let it silde with using different ip address

but if anyone could help me out it would be great

Thanks

For DHCP to work across vlans, you need to put in an IP helper-address on the router that points at your DHCP server's IP address. E.g. IP helper-address 192.168.1.1

The router will then forward all broadcasts from the dhcp server across the vlans you have set up.

@jahayes91 is correct you will put this on the interface that is connected to the subnet.

also since subnet 1 and 2 use the same ip address when connecting them to the router it has issues i have being able to let it silde with using different ip address

Each subnet should have its own range.

A layer 3 switch, if you have the budget would be a much better option than a Router on a Stick, in packet tracer look for a Multi-Layer switch.

As others have said a ip helper address is what you need. You will also prob need an IP helper address for any network boot servers that use PXE etc.
