Gongalong Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Hi folks, Has anyone come across a particularly good solution for transporting (16) tablets across site? We have been using this for 6 months, but the handle has broken https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B014T9NP18 We aren't worried about it being collapsible, but we do need to be able to get/carry it up stairs. We're just after something robust. Thanks
Joanne Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 This might be overkill for what you need... but I find these to be very hardy. iNsync C34 1
Boredguy Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 I use a bright orange B&Q toolbox to transport our 15 iPads around site. It's waterproof and easy enough carry and was only £12. Once we have it back we put the tablets back into the Lapcabby to charge over night 1
Joanne Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Or something like this... https://www.lockncharge.com/mobile_device_baskets/ 1
Gongalong Posted February 28, 2017 Author Posted February 28, 2017 We have a Loxit case that some of our tablets get charged in, but it's so big and heavy. The collapsible crate we were using is OK, but ultimately has proven to be too flimsy. Something like this would be good, but with a rigid box rather than a bag: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Special-Model-Andersen-Shopping-guarantee/dp/B01CPCQ7IO
Gongalong Posted April 12, 2018 Author Posted April 12, 2018 We were purely after something to move the tablets about, as they already have their own wireless charging solution. We ended up getting one of these, which has mostly been OK. One of the drawstring cords has ripped through the fabric, but I suspect that was due to student use. Also the Velcro that holds the bag at the top can sometimes come loose, no doubt due to the weight of the tablets. We have to put the tablets in vertically, otherwise the weight on the tablets at the bottom of the pile causes damage https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gimi-Tris-Shopping-trolley-Black/dp/B00F611YTO
