Recommend me a solution

I'm not going to bother listing details on purpose, basically recommend me your best solution to a classroom that needs mobile devices...not to travel around, but purely to be used in one classroom due to a lack of space, power or networking, and a need for IT. (Wireless already in place)

 

I've got a whole host of requirements, but it seems impossible to meet them all, so I need to start finding what aspects of those needs i can ignore, the closest to ideal is the learnpad workbook but that still doesn't quite fit the needs.

 

So I'm just after recommendations i can look through and ponder over. Everything form laptops, tablets, chromebooks etc, give device specifics if you can.

Only 32GB internal space and they were a little slow (we had a play with one). Needs 64GB minimum really. We did ask them about this last summer and they said a 4GB ram/64GB ssd model was coming by Christmas, but the guy that told us that left the company and ever since it's sounded like it's not happening.

Our school uses Chromebooks (Toshiba CB2) which have 4GB RAM but of course don't have much internal storage (but don't need it with Google Drive). They also don't convert to a tablet but we have iPads for that. It really depends what you want to use the devices for.

Asus's Chromebook Flip C302 has 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and can function as a tablet.

Acer's Chromebook Spin 11 (R751T) and Dell's Chromebook 11 (3180) are closer to the Learnpad Workbook however.

Asus's Chromebook Flip C302 has 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and can function as a tablet.

 

We have found the Asus Chromebook Flip C100PA to be excellent for classroom use - functions as both a tablet and laptop, and just the right size for our children. We are a prep school, though, so possibly slightly smaller children. 4GB of RAM, and performance hasn't been an issue at all, and they were very reasonably priced - around £250-ish.

 

I was impressed by the new Asus Chromebook flip C213 at BETT - adds a bigger screen, USB-C charging and stylus compatibility, but does seem like it will cost a bit more, plus it's not out for another few months as yet.
