Rolled Up Distribution Groups

Hi all,

 

We have recently changed the manner in which we auto generate our Distribution Groups in Active Directory in order to sync them into our Office 365. However I wish to have a Distribution Group that has other groups as member, but only sends the e-mail once to a user that appears in more than one of the groups with membership. Currently it is sending multiple e-mails to those users. I was informed to roll the groups up into another group. Could be a dull question, but how do I do that...?
