iSAMS Data Manager (SQL/SSRS/Firefly) – Yorkshire * URGENT *

Up to £32,500 depending on experience (plus extensive benefits including free lunches/parking/gym/swimming pool and reduced fees etc.)

(Full Time position, including 1 in 3 Saturdays)

Our client, a prestigious independent school in Central Yorkshire, are looking for an experienced school’s Data Manager to join their existing team to assist and support the new and existing systems, the servers and desktops plus the implementation, interfacing and migration to new ones.

 

As the Data Manager, your role will be to provide full support to the staff, students and guests across the 3 school sites and to be held responsible for the school’s MIS system (iSAMS).

 

You will also be required to maintain a detailed knowledge of the school’s applications systems and integrations and configure/manage the use of API’s for third party integrations.

 

 

Essential Requirements :

 

· 2 years’ experience as a Data Manager, preferably within the Education sector.

· Web programming skills including Apache/PHP, ASP/ASPX, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

· Knowledge of Microsoft and MySQL, including report writing using SQL/SSRS.

· Ability to provide support and training at all levels of an education setting

 

Desirable :

 

· Knowledge or previous experience of iSAMS.

· Knowledge or previous experience of Firefly VLE.

· IT qualifications in SQL, Databases and Data Management or the equivalent experience.

· Basic Active Directory, DNS and Google Apps.

· Experience of writing system guides and user documentation

 

 

This position will contain occasional requirements to provide out of hours support for events when required, as part of the team rota. Time in lieu can be claimed for out of hours support.
