Always On Always Connected

Just would like to know if anyone had changed to this in terms of power management/maintenance.

I'm testing automating PCs going into standby after a set time, when idle. To save money on power but also so Windows 10 can WOL reliably. This is to allow the feature updates to take place out of hours. Also Windows Updates can occur out of hours. This seems to be the mentality from Redmond as Windows 10 seems to take quite a while to settle down as soon as it reaches the logon screen. So should help with pre-fetch. I'm applying the Shared PC mode as it gives a log off option if someone leaves the PC logged on when idle.

Has anyone had any experience of implementing this change and also users getting used to not shutting down?
