Anyone know how to disable conversations in Microsoft Classroom?

Hi guys -

Anyone know how to disable conversations in Microsoft Classroom?

We have just set it up and already I can see the conversations option causing problems.

Anyone know of any Powershell (or other) which can turn off the feature?

Cheers - Andrew

As the classroom is effectively an O365 Group I don't believe you can disable/prevent access to the conversation area as it's a core area.

That being said, I can't personally see any issues with having it enabled. If a student, or multiple students are stupid enough to discuss something inappropriate in it then the teacher(s) attached to the classroom will have a complete written record of it. We're only using it with a single sixth form group as a trial but haven't had any issues with that, typically the only person to start a conversation is the teacher.
