Arthur Posted January 17, 2017 Posted January 17, 2017 I think it might have been superseded by the September 2016 servicing stack update (KB3177467). www.edugeek.net/forums/windows-7/178195-windows-update-windows-7-a-2.html#post1533125 1

Arthur Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 I was under the impression you still had to install the April one at the very start? After a bit of searching I have found the answer. See comment by Andrei Stoica dated 5 January 2017... https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/astoica/2017/01/03/windows-7-refreshed-media-creation/#div-comment-106 KB3177467 is flagged for exclusive install (Must be installed exclusively: Yes) and we wouldn’t be able to add KB3125574 offline, if we use KB3177467 instead of KB3020369. Regarding KB3185330: I wrote in the blog, “The last update to install is KB3185330, at the moment of writing this guide, in the future just replace it with the latest monthly/preview rollup, found on the page below”. KB3020369 is still required if you are integrating updates to an offline Windows 7 image using DISM, whereas if you are installing updates from within Windows itself you can replace KB3020369 with KB3125574. 1

Tesla Posted January 19, 2017 Author Posted January 19, 2017 I just tried installing the KB3125574 mentioned in the above posts (thanks @Arthur ). But it didn't work, it only worked once i had installed the April 2015 stack update.............no idea whats going on!
