Lenovo 'Model Invalid'

Last summer we purchased a number of Lenovo B50-50 laptops. Two laptops have since developed faults and were returned to Lenovo for repair. The motherboards were replaced during the repair but the new motherboard does not have a valid model number.

 

This is a real problem for us as our deployment method (SCCM + WMI Query) relies on having the model number to deploy the correct drivers, software, etc

 

I have contacted Lenovo support but they are not being very helpful.

 

Has anybody ever come across this? Is there a way of entering a model number back into the BIOS perhaps?
