speckytecky Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 I'm currently gathering a few quotes for a new server and one company I have approached http://www.pars.co.uk/ seems to have understood what I was asking for far better than any of the others I have approached. Anyone got experience of Pars they would care to share please.
FN-GM Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 We use PARS, what can I say. Its very good. I have been there around 6 months and none of use haven’t needed to fix a problem with it. My boss has been there over a year and he said he has never had any problems. It depends on SIMS and sometimes when SIMS doesn’t play PARS wont. If PARS ever crashes (not very often) it automatically opens a support ticket, and we get PARS support telling us there is a problem. We didn’t even know about it! That’s what I call service. All the tickets that have been opened have been due to problems with the computer or SIMS. Never PARS its self. 1

He's not talking about PARS from Tasc software, he's talking about a hardware company called pars. 2

markwatkins Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 We have circa 90 PARS PCs and in over a year have only had 1 that needed to RTB they also do advanced replacement which means we get the part and fix it ourselves which save a huge amount of time. They are very good. 1
