Writing With Symbols 2000

Quick request - does anyone have the installer for this program? I know it's been superseded, but I have a school who had it on and old PC which has now died and they would like to use it again... same old story, I have the box, but no floppy or CD.

Was it called Widgit...I have an old package I created many years ago on a CC4 network would this be of interest?

Widgit is the company that made it (Logotron are also involved). Happy to try anything to get it working.

We threw our old ones out once it was superseded--- sorry

 

There was a trick that the floppy held the licences and didn't let you install if you had run out - and you had to have the floppy in when you uninstalled as well so you retrieved the licences... it was not fun.

Also if you copied the floppy (as a backup) you lost a licence..

Oh yes I remember this, I think it's why I made a package.

I still have the computer, so could possibly get it up and running to uninstall if I can acquire the disk...

Hi It's been superseded a couple of times now- it was really flakey - we use Widgit Online now worth a look not sure how much a single licence is
