Any LGfL Schools using Smoothwall?

As the title states. If any LGfL connected Schools are using Smoothwall for their content filtering would you please pm me? We are moving to Smoothwall from 1st April and I want to find out how other schools use it in place of or with Webscreen 2.0.

We use Smoothwall with the LGfL and have done since we've been with the LGfL. In general we turn off most of the categories in WebScreen 2.0 apart from the most extreme ones. Most content is filtered here before it hits Websense so users rarely see a LGfL block page. I like the fact the Smoothwall is AD integrated so managing appropriate levels of filtering for staff and students is a simple process. The range of filtering options in Smoothwall is far superior to those found in Websense as well.

Interesting - did you consider the S14, with optional 10Gb links? Or was the price simply out this world?

To tell you the truth I went with their recommendation. S14 was never offered and I didn't know to ask.
