Will_Townsend Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 We are currently recruiting for a Digital Media Technician for an outstanding educational establishment and charity in the Camden area. The Digital Media Technician will work with the Assistant Headteacher. The role will include duties such as developing the school website, social media, online virtual learning tool and multimedia output within the school to provide a consistent and up to date brand message promoting the school. Responsibilities will include responsibility for maintaining Firefly, responsibility for training staff in the use of Firefly, responsibility for digitising teaching resources as and when required, help maintain and design the school website, maintain the school twitter feed including promoting key events and during school holidays assisting the IT department with installation and upgrade of IT infrastructure. In order to apply for this position it is essential you are educated to GCSE level or equivalent, have experience of working with websites, experience of working with digital content, experience of using Adobe Photoshop or equivalent image editing for preparing content before publishing online, ability to produce reports, spreadsheets and briefings. Excellent written, graphic and verbal communication skills and ability to manage own workload, work autonomously on own initiative and learn while working where the need arises. This position is paying around the £25k mark plus and excellent benefits package including staff pension scheme and lunch. Will_Townsend Posted November 30, 2016 Author Posted November 30, 2016 *bump* sorry just realised I put £30K in the subject and it is £25K, my mistake, what this school is really looking for is someone probably working in a 1st/2nd line role in another school who gets tasked with, and enjoys, updating websites and other digital educational content no previous experience of firefly is necessary BTW
