Azure AD and Canvas VLE - Cert fingerprint issue

Good morning all,

 

I am having trouble getting users authenticatiing toCanvas using their email addresses via Azure AD.

 

After speaking to Canvas support they have said that our URLs all point to the right place but we seem to have a certificate fingerprint issue.

 

In Azure AD, the cert finger print I was given was 1234567890 . . . however if I grad the xml from the EntityID and process the X509 cert in to https://www.samltool.com/fingerprint.php I get a completely different finger print.

 

Anyone got any ideas?

Actually 1234567890? That's obviously not real. Where do you see that? You want the one from the cert.

LOL you correct, that is not real!

 

The fingerprint should be: E4B4DE1ED05BA9875131CA4A5A030C461475A0DD but when accessing the metadata for the site, it has a fingerprint of: 46b42abbdaf27415515a672872e5d46f6d071913
