Windows 7 Desktop/Laptop NTFS permission

Hi,

 

I've been asked to image some desktops/laptops for students, what kind of ntfs permission should be set to the C:\ drive so pupils do not install, but only access programs? like word, excel? or are they mapped by GPO (we hired an external company to do our networking side).

As long as they are not an administrator it will take care of its self in theory.
