karldenton Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 Hi Randomly our Win10 machines crash with the blue screen, sad face "Something went wrong etc". I've attached the system event log If anyone has any idea that would be great. They are all decent-ish machines HP 8200, i5, 6GB etc Thanks
Spenketh Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 (edited) What method did you use to build your Windows 10 machines? We had the same issue when we used Macrium Reflect to copy a virtual machine and deployed the image to a few test machines. We soon swapped to builds using MDT and have worked fine ever since. karldenton Posted November 23, 2016 Author Posted November 23, 2016 We updated a Windows 7 machine (not a fresh install). We then just use Clonezilla for save the image to network and back down again to the machines
Spenketh Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 I'm afraid I can't help with the specifics of the issue as we didn't spend time trying to diagnose it because it was quicker for us to create/deploy an MDT image. I would try testing an image created in MDT and see if it has the same effect, it certainly fixed it for us.
alfatec Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 I would always do a fresh install. Remove the apps from the install.wim first.
