mjs_mjs Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 Hi all, I'm in need of some rackmoutable fanless switches, that i can get cheaply off eBay. Not to concerned about the port count but need to have a minimum of 4 GB ports, Vlan management and QOS ideally DSCP. I have had a look for older HP's but the 4 GB ports and QOS requirements seem to put me into the fully GB switch or 48 port switch with all seem to have fans Any and all suggestions welcomed. Cheers Matt

Chris_ Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 How cheap is cheap? And how many do you need? Easier to buy new if you're wanting them to all be identical.
colly72 Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 I've got one of these sat on my desk. Very quiet and a good switch (especially for free!)

Don't need to all be identical, looking for 4 to start with, but will need more in the future. How cheap is cheap.... well i can get TP-LINK - TL-SG3210 - 8-Port JetStream Gigabit L2 Managed Switch with 2 SFP Slots | CPC UK for £100, so looking for less than half that used.
