ok, had a quick look and couldn't find anything elsewhere

 

wanting a freesat box, but would like one that i can put kodi, iplayer, itv, 4od on

anyone seen one of those?

or am i going to end up with two boxes?

Off the top of my head there was a box that I think was called a dreambox, that you could use for freesat and kodi, I'll double check when I get home!

I use a humax freesat box. You can't (as far as I know) put kodi on it, but it has all the on demand stuff 😊

I also have a Humax box, which has been fine (although you need to press enter more times than really necessary!). It's fine for the catchup stuff live and recorded telly. I really like the skip 2 minutes button which makes adverts almost always vanish with three presses. I also have a nowtv box with plex sideloaded onto it which works fine, although after a server update it's not playing all media so I've been playing with emby which is similar to plex. I think the best way to use kodi is with one of those mini android boxes, but I've not actually tried it for years (it used to be xmbc right?)

Looks like the Dreambox can stream to kodi, but can't have kodi installed on it. Some googling finds the V8 Angel, K1 Plus S2+T2, and some others
