IPADS Home Screen

Hi All,

 

 

Please is there a way I can set a home screen for IPADS in a school?

 

 

We don't want the students to be able to change the screen background.

 

 

We currently use meraki to deploy apps. We also have a mac but the apple configurator is not set to supervise the IPads.

This can be done is Meraki, Systems Manager>Settings

 

you should have settings in there if not create a profile Called Student ipads, Add Settings then Click Wallpaper you have option for home and locked.

That will work, but you will have to supervise the iPads in order to set the wallpaper/lock screen.

You can either use apple configure for - which can be time consuming; or add them into DEP + Meraki for complete control over them.

remember to change to untick the "Allow modification of wallpaper (iOS 9+)" in settings - restrictions - iOS restrictions (supervised) . Only if the iPads are supervised.
