Problem affecting most of our machines r.e. network stack

Hi Guys,

 

Has anyone else had any issues with Windows 10 completely breaking their networking stack?

 

I've had about 5 staff and a trolley of netbooks completely drop off the network recently. Symptoms are showing as connected to our WLAN, but getting a 169 address and not being able to contact anything even with a static address. Happens no matter which Wireless network the machine is connected to, and happens even if we plug it in via Ethernet.

 

I managed to find that doing 'netsh winsock reset catalog' and 'netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log' then rebooting seems to bring them back to life, and it doesn't occur again (yet).

 

Any ideas how I could track this down, or even stop it from happening? Has anyone else seen this? I'm not sure if it's happening on any other OS', we're 100% Windows 10 at this point.

 

We're not doing anything particularly fancy, typical WPA2 network, have DirectAccess deployed for VPN (but not on the netbooks, so I don't see that being the cause).
