1-wire temperature sensors with nagios

Following Rics great guide I've installed nagios successfully on an old elonex prosentia box I had lying around.

As well as monitoring printers via snmp and ping and servers I also have a 1 wire controller from http://www.homechip.co.uk plugged into the serial port.

I have the RJ45 version so can plug in temperature sensors etc... using standard cat5 patch leads.

Nagios then reads in the temperature information from a log file and displays it as per any other check, it has bounds on it for the temperature range and warns when outside of those.

If people are interested in this then I will put together the links I used to acheive this and things I found out.

Plus I'd like some of the better linux guys to maybe help refine how I've done things.
