IT Operations Manager - £40-50K - Hounslow

Our independent school client is based near Hounslow. The senior school for boys aged 11-18 is partnered with a prep and pre-school for boys aged 3-11 and girls aged 3-7. The school is highly ranked in the independence schools tables for GCSE results in 2016. Along with the school’s academic excellence it also offers a range of extracurricular activities that take advantage of their excellent facilities such as a state of the art 3G all weather football pitch. The school aims to get the best from its pupils academically whilst preparing them for their futures outside of school life.

 

You will be responsible for the overall management of all IT systems, services, infrastructure and development projects insuring that the IT services are running at optimum levels. You will also be responsible for leading a team to help them plan and check that projects are clearly understood. This role requires at least five years’ experience of managing IT operations preferably in the education sector, providing input into IT vision and strategy, planning budget and resource allocation. You must have a good understanding of technology and experience in working with senior leaders, projects and IT service management.
