Junior IT Technician - £16-18K - Hounslow area

Our independent school client is based near Hounslow. The senior school for boys aged 11-18 is partnered with a prep and pre-school for boys aged 3-11 and girls aged 3-7. The school is highly ranked in the independence schools tables for GCSE results in 2016. Along with the school’s academic excellence it also offers a range of extracurricular activities that take advantage of their excellent facilities such as a state of the art 3G all weather football pitch. The school aims to get the best from its pupils academically whilst preparing them for their futures outside of school life.

 

You will be responsible for providing first line support across the school. Working from a help desk, trouble shooting and resolving first line issues and communicating with users via the phone or at their desks. Working on AV devices, desktop hardware, providing toner for printers and updating the asset management system. You will be working within a team escalating issues which you cannot fix.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career. With a minimum of five GCSE’s and either completed or completing a level 2/3 diploma in IT.
