Cache Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Afternoon all We're investigating cashless catering and currently have Schoolcomms in place for our online payments. Nationwide are coming to visit soon to discus their solution and just wondered if anyone had any feedback/problems/wished I'd known that, particularly on the integration with Schoolcomms, that they wouldn't mind sharing? Thanks 1
Schoolcomms Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 If you give our support team a call and they can connect you with some schools who have been through the process. It's worth giving them a call anyway to let them know your plans. We will liaise directly with NRS so you don't need to do so much piggy in the middle. It is a pretty painless process so long as you involve both parties early so that everything can be done in the right order. This is really important if you are migrating from one cashless system to another, if it's planned right it's fine, but there are some pitfalls which can result in some unnecessary unpicking. Definitely a stitch in time to save nine scenario for both you and us! We don't charge for integration with cashless caterers, but some cashless caterers do. Worth checking before you sign on the line - some schools have had some success with some cashless providers in negotiating these integration fees out... 1
Cache Posted November 4, 2016 Author Posted November 4, 2016 Thanks @Schoolcomms for the reply! It's a very early conversation at the moment and I think, but will double check, someone in our finance department has been in touch with Schoolcomms about it. Thanks for the note about the integration fee's too, that is extremely useful to know!
round2it Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Experience of nationwide not good at all upgrading of reval note mechs requires a whole new system I mean a whole new system not just new reval units absolutely ridiculous.
