Printer recommendations please

We have one MFD which provides all services for 9 infant classes (so 9 FTE teachers, but including class and specialist TAs about 35 actual people) and about 300 pupils.

 

The machine we have on lease is a Ricoh MP C5503 and it's not coping with the proportion of photos we're printing. We've been advised that it's because we're exceeding the design specs and having looked at our historical data I can see that it should have coped with what we told the supplier we needed, but our usage had significantly changed. It was accurate at the time, but we're now printing about 55% colour and that's made up of mostly photos, so much denser colour than you would expect for normal office use.

 

I've followed up on usage patterns and been told that there are new requirements and they can't be changed.

 

Any recommendations from people with similar requirements?

Our Canon 5235 series are coping just fine, we have 2 - one for students and staff and one just for staff, they do about 60% and 45% colour respectively.
