AppData folder getting copied into Users home drives

Just noticed a weird thing. We are completely Windows 10 throughout our school. We use local profiles with redirected Desktop and start menu but the app data is set as not configured. We have recently

noticed that an app data folder is being created in the users home folder, which then increases in size, even though we do not have roaming profiles or have app data folder redirection set.

You may have an application that is set to use %homepath%\Appdata\Roaming rather than %appdata%, for instance (I think that's right, off the top of my head). With local home areas they'd be the same, but not so with AD users with redirected home areas.
