We are currently searching for an outstanding SIMS and Technical Support Officer on behalf of our client 3BM. 3BM are a unique employee owned mutual organisation, supporting approximately 200 schools across Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster, Hammersmith and Fulham and beyond. You will be working as part of the highly regarded 3BM SIMS technical team, promoting and developing a business that prides itself on the integrity of its staff and its company values. Responsibilities • Provide high quality technical support to schools in the use of SIMS including helpdesk support, technical advice and troubleshooting both remotely and onsite. • Support the lead officer for SIMS technical support to schools • Co-ordinate the SIMS termly upgrade process • To develop and facilitate effective teamwork to ensure that all areas of the service are aware and respond to schools needs • Liaise with third party suppliers and work with the 3BM internal technical team to maintain and develop the internal 3BM network architecture Technical product experience includes: SIMS and FMS Technical, SOLUS 3, Windows Server 2008/2012, DNS, AD, SQL Server, Windows 7 and 8, Virtualised Server (VMWare, Hyper-V and Veeam). Will_Townsend Posted November 16, 2016 Author Posted November 16, 2016 **bump** This role is actually more like 50% support of technical aspects of sims including solus upgrades etc and 50% standard tech support of the internal networks of the business, so virtualisation, windows server, sql server etc is really key Interviews this and next friday
