Bob_the_Goon Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Hey guys, Just noticed on the RM support pages a couple of new tec articles referring to a new product called RM Inform. Does any body know what this is? Is anyone using this? I can't see anything on their main pages referring to it. One of the TEC articles refers to the following url http://www.rminform.com Looks like it is an agent that you install on your PCs and they report back to the mothership how often PCs are being used, login times etc.
foofighterjim Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 RM Inform is currently in field trial and I am one of the people currently testing it. I'm not sure how much detail I can go into about it here. Your final sentence is what it does in a nutshell but it does collect other data about the devices too.
Bob_the_Goon Posted October 10, 2016 Author Posted October 10, 2016 I see. So is it any good then? Go on, spill the beans. RM won't be listening...[emoji3]
ITGURU Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Re-Inventing the wheel - most of that can be done for free.
Bob_the_Goon Posted October 10, 2016 Author Posted October 10, 2016 According to the tec articles the things listed will be part of the free version.

steve_forbes Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Hi, I just wanted to add that if anyone wants to join the Field Trial then let me know and I can arrange it for you. Thanks Steve
DavR Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 I was worried for a minute there that RM were aligning themselves with the government Prevent strategy... RM Inform, a handy way of reporting your friends or colleagues for subversion or radicalisation!
