Hi All,

I have a LA switch with Vlan 1 as Admin, Vlan 2 Curric.

I have a trunk port on the switch which allows me to have both Vlan1 and 2 on the same port which is great for my wifi.

However i then have 2 media converters one for curric and one for admin to the other end of the school. These then go into separate switches.

Is there any way i can take an uplink from the Admin switch and a uplink from the curric switch and put them both into the same POE switch and allow the wifi at this end of the school use the VLANS?

Thanks in advance.

It is possible. You would have a single uplink connection between the switches and this would be a trunk. Do not have 2 connections as you are at risk of a loop.

As you used the word trunk, I guess these are Cisco swtiches?

Can you draw a quick diagram in paint just so I can double check I have understood you?

Thanks
