[ms office - 2016] Alternative Annotation Add in for Powerpoint 2016

Hi,

 

For producing e learning videos, we want to use powerpoint (in presentation mode) and make live annotations with a microsoft surface pro 4 and record it with camtasia. The build in annotation function in powerpoint isn't exactly what we want to use, because it isn't possible to switch the pen color with a shortcut or change the size of the pen. Ideally, there would be a way to store some predefined pens (ev. blue and medium size), which you can select with a shortcut. The smart ink add in from smarttech offers this functions, unfortunately, it does only work with a smart board from smarttech...

So, is there an alternative Add in, which has similar functionality like smart ink?

If there isn't one, would it be difficult to programm such an add in?
