Touch on Wifi.

Hi.

Ive been trying to get my new 32Gb Touch working with the Wifi i have here.

Ive managed to get the internet working on it, as i just put in the wifi connection specific proxy settings onto it (why doesnt windows have this feature?), but i cant access my mail (google imap) or the iTunes store.

 

Ideas?

Can you access things like your IMAP mail from a windows client connected through your wireless network?

 

In Lincolnshire they block things like itunes connections and imap mail apart from their own - so even with a wireless connection established on my iPhone, i can use the internet fine, but nothing specific like my mail, which still uses the edge connection.

Im not sure.

I can access normal Pop gmail though.

Im not bothered too much about the iTunes store, but i'd like to get the mail working.
