Hi All,

We have been buying Chromebooks at a rate of knots, they are fast, reliable with brilliant battery life, not even mentioning the Google Classroom bit. As so many pupils are using them now it makes sense to use Chromebooks for exams, especially for pupils with access arrangement. But I’m struggling to find a way to do that, so does anybody use Chromebooks for exams or looking into it or can point me in a right direction?

I have tried couple of different ways to do it but neither is reliable or relatively easy to setup. First one is using Google Forms with Public Session, though it is relatively easy to setup but that does not give you “Save” or “Print” functionality and work can potentially be lost during exam (I don’t think we can risk that).

The other way I looked at is to use the Google Classroom but it a lot harder to lock down the internet access (as when pupils set up a new document it creates a unique link to it). We can create an “Exam User” and setup Classroom document for them but it will mean a lot of manual work and I don’t think that it’s the way forward.

So, any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.
