NetworkNinja Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 Good Afternoon All, I have been trying to image some computer using SCCM but some of the computers have the same GUID number, I understand there is a program called AMIDMI.exe but i can only find a 64bit version. Does anyone have or know where i could download a 32bit version of the application so i can run it on the machine. Thanks in advance.
FN-GM Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 This has been an issue for me in the past. When you say the GUID do you mean the Bios GUID?
NetworkNinja Posted September 28, 2016 Author Posted September 28, 2016 This has been an issue for me in the past. When you say the GUID do you mean the Bios GUID? Hi FN-GM, Yes its the BIOS GUID, i found a program for 64bit but i cannot find one for 32bit. I have created a bootage device for the WINPE but i really need to find the program to solve the issue or another way. Have you had any luck?
FN-GM Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 What type of machines are these? How new are they? If they are Stone computers give them a phone and they will give you a utility to sort it.

If they are Stone computers give them a phone and they will give you a utility to sort it. Lets change your question "How new are they" to "How old are they". There are the OLD NEC Computers, we have about 10 of them left but we can only get rid of them once they break.
skell Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 How do you know its 64bit? The version I have you have to run from DOS (or FreeDOS, in my case)
DavR Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Wow, I haven't had to do a GUID fix for a while. I've got a couple of old DMI flash utilities that you're welcome to, between the two of them I usually got a result. Entirely at your own risk of course....

NorthernNoel Posted January 7 Posted January 7 This takes me back. Years ago I had a bunch of Elonex computers all on the same GUID. Managed to get a GUID editor from Elonex on floppy disk and had to go around every single one and manually create a GUID for them. Dark days indeed
