sayerm Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 Can anyone suggest the correct levels to use for IFS (now LIBF) Level 3 Certificate in Financial Studies and IFS Level 3 Diploma in Financial Studies ? And if you know, where can one find this kind of information ? Many thanks
CAM Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 It looks like a BTEC course. They generally start with BT followed by the qualification type and level (example: BTDi3 is a level three Diploma and BTCe3 is a level three Certificate). Might want to check with them, that course is missing on their site and I can't see the specification.
bobsmith Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 It's not a BTEC, it uses A*-E grading for a start. We run IFS Certificate in Financial Studies (CeFS) QAN 600/8537/X and I just bunged it under GCEAS in coursemanager, those level statuses are for internal use only from my experience. These odd duck courses are always fun to deal with. The place to check the details of these courses is The Register of Regulated Qualifications: Home page, it's not as good as it once was, but it's still definitive. There's also some spreadsheets with course values available from https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/school-performance-tables-about-the-data which give you performance points. 1
WayTooTricky Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 I've plopped mine in as a GCE too - it isn't but the grade match.
