SIMS Class names

Good morning,

 

It seems we had some classes in SIMS that have been renamed in Nova T6 and instead of the new name just being updated when exported to SIMS it has instead created a duplicate. So now 1 class has the new name and 1 the old.

 

I assume this is because SIMS keeps the historical classes as they were created during the academic year.

 

Would a way to resolve this be by exporting the T6 file with the date of September 1st?

NO Please do NOT do this. It could potentially create all sorts of issues with historical attendance data.

Have the old classes actually been removed from Nova-T or have new ones been added in and the old ones left there ?

They were renamed, so no new ones were created.
