Smartboard E70 tv vs the E4065 tv

Hello,

 

Just wondered if there were any more differences apart from the size between the E70 & E4065 interactive Tv's

 

Is the E4065 just a bit to small for a classroom or is it OK.

 

I have used the E70 only so would go with that but was told by a sales company they sell more of the smaller E4065.

 

If anyone has both it would be great to have your preferred choice.

We have 16 65" screens in our school and find the size just fine. We are a primary though. If your rooms are big, get bigger. If not, then the choice is yours

Hi @TwistedHelixis - The E70 was released aprx 12 months before the 4065. Both are FHD and both use the same touch technologies.

 

4055 , 4065, E70 = FHD , No OPS slot (slot in PC ), No pen colour recognition , MiniPC mount , upto 10 point touch

 

4075, 4084 = 4k, NO OPS slot (slot in PC ), No pen colour recognition , MiniPC mount , upto 10 point touch

 

6055, 6065, 6084 = 4k , OPS SLOT , Pen colour recognition , MiniPC mount , Object awareness (know difference between pen , finger , palm )

So in summary the E70 and 4065 are pretty much the same in features - the difference is the screen size 4065 = 65" and e70 = 70" , the E70 is heavier as is bigger.

 

The E70 will be aprox £700 more expensive than 4065 .

We have installed both the E70 and 4065, the latter 5in smaller only the difference but a lot less expensive - which is why they are more popular. If budget allows then obviously the larger.

Oh forgot to say, nowhere near £700 more for the larger one !
