Easi View visualize not detected by software but is detected by Windows

Hi, One of my teachers laptops will not work with Easi View visualizer. If I run the software nothing happens until I remove the USB cable connected to the visualizer and then it opens with a message saying 'No detected video devices'

 

If I open devices and plug in the visualizer it gets listed imaging devices in Windows 10.

 

I have tried other visualizers from other classes and none of them are working on this one laptop.

 

I have also tried to uninstall the software and re-install but still no joy.

 

Has anyone come across this or got any ideas?
