samwells1234 Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 Hi All, I have an issue regarding keyboards, the keyboards work fine when turned on and can get into BIOS etc. As soon as you get to the log in screen it stops typing the num lock light stays on so it doesn't turn off but im having keep unplugging the keyboard and plugging it back in and works fine is there a solution to this? The motherboard is an gigabyte ga h61m s2pv. I have looked for drivers but nothing involving USB drivers so im stuck I dont know what to do I think its happening to about 4-6 computers in my ICT Suite. Kind Regards Sam
ITJS2015 Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 Boot into save mode which will load 3rd party drivers, uninstall the keyboard driver and restart your machine. It will then re-install the correct driver for it. I have seen this before with the deadly Evesham machines which I regret getting along time ago but its worth a try. This method works when a machine is constantly not getting a connects to either mouse or keyboard
