So I've tried and failed at getting the OneDriveMapper script by Liebensraum working. Seems it needs permissions that i simply can't give. :(

iamcloud seems too expensive considering we only want to map a users one drive and not all the other bells and whistles that they offer. (They don't happen to do a special price for cloud drive mapper only do they? Nothing listed on their site)

Are there any other solutions anyone here's using to map one drives? Or anyone got the OneDriveMapper script working successfully with heavily restricted users?

I have also been looking for a OneDrive mapping solution - I have not tried Liebensraum script (have looked into it but not tried) and also found iamcloud too expensive for just a drive mapping software / also waiting to hear back from them regarding roaming profiles.

As it is so close to the start of the new term I have put this on the back burner until next year when I move to Server 2016. The work around I am going with until then is signing into my office 365 account via office IE: Word 2016 - this allows me to open / save / save as any office format document and I upload any other format via a browser - the only downside is that you cannot access Onedrive via file explorer but I am training my staff and students that if they wish to open their onedrive office documents to go via the office program IE: Word and to view all data via a browser - Not perfect but it's a start / working towards the end goal and so far seems to be working well.

I've noticed since setuping up ADFS and enabling SSO with office365 that office 2013 now signs the user automatically so they can just select their one drive to open or save from without issue, however I'm hoping to ban/block the use of pen drives entirely by forcing everyone to use their onedrive accounts instead. Can only do that once i get a drive mapped though :(

Spoke to iamcloud earlier, apparently their minimum purchase limit has gone up this year from £750 to £1500 or something along those lines. However i mentioned that I'm only after one function of their product and that all the other features were surplus to requirements....he's gone away to speak to his manager and will be getting back to me about a cheaper price and seeing if they can do something for cloud drive mapper only. Not holding my breath on that one though.

The problem i had with the OneDriveMapper script is that it all runs through perfectly fine, but when it gets to the map drive part the logs say access denied when it tried to run the net use command, however if i enable "Map network drive" in group policy i can manually enter the path and it maps fine...so I'm at a loss for what permissions the script needs to do that (always worked fine in the past when we used to have login scripts doing the drive mappings opposed to group policy preferences.)

Wow that is a big price increase that pushes my school out from using iamcloud - lets see what they come back with as I am sure there are many school out there who would welcome a OneDrive mapper as a single product - I understand that RM are / released a Onedrive mapper but only for RM CC.5 networks and maybe they will release a vanilla version - seems like a hole in the market to me!

Sorry I can't help as you are already doing what I am doing here regarding Office 365 and Office 2016 with SSO
