Using Apple TV's as digital signage

Hello,

 

I'm wondering if it's possible, currently we have x30 Apple TV's in our school and x6 of them are used for our plasma TVs, they're connected to the wifi. We use a program called Air Parrot 2 to display a power point across all the screens at once.

 

I'm wondering if there's any better software that would allow us to do this, I know there's some digital signage software out there but don't appear to see any that are compatible with air play/Apple TV's...

 

Anyone know anything similar?

Yes there is an awesome Apple TV solution that works across all platforms and lets your students upload videos and content, which you can check and moderate first. This is an app that you install onto the Apple TV, more details below..

Agreed... ShowPoint (ShowPoint | Auto-start Digital Signage Presentations) and a load of Intel Compute sticks (or generic versions) could be a more cost effective option if you only need to display PowerPoint presentations.
