Hi all. I'm having a few issues on my HP Envy notebook since the Windows 10 update. One is the damn start menu crashing every time an update has been installed, jesus how anoying is having updates forced upon you in the background. This need to be changed to at least give you a week warning before forcing the issue or something. Anyway I digress.

I have a HP Envy 15 (15-j140na) notebook. It came with Windows 8.1 originally but then later updated to Windows 10 ( no debate on this please :) ). I'm a little unclear on what will happen if I factory restore the notebook, will it revert to Windows 8 and then I'll have to download Windows 10 again or will it restore Windows 10. I'd like to have some idea of what I'm facing before I start :)

Cheers all :)

Edit:

Hmmm I think this might offer some answers.
