IE export to Excel not working

So i've exported a class list from SIMS to IE 11.0.9600.18204, i need to export it to Excel (2013) so i right click Export to "Microsoft Excel". When i click nothing happens

 

I went to attempt the workaround on this link https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/826917 - but there is no such thing as MenuExt in the registry.

 

I've tried repairing office and uninstalling re-installing.

 

Pulling my hair out here!
